Check It Before You Get it...!!!
...and give a Green light to your cosmetics...

I have a very sensitive skin which tends to be oily on some areas. I need to be careful what to put on my skin, because it can get irritated easily.
A while ago i found a site   http://cosdna.com/  that helps me to choose the right products for my skin type without spending money on products that can be harmful on my skin or completely useless.
So instead of spending hours in the shops reading the ingredients of the creams, lotions, cosmetics... etc. i just type in the exact name of the product i am intending to buy, or wanna try out, and voila....in just seconds i can find out if it is made for me or not....

A little Help on using it :)

You will find 4 columns

  1. Function: describes the function of each ingredient in the product (feel free to use google translate or a dictionary to understand the strange words.... believe me, there are a lot...)
  2. Comedogenic: shows on a scale from 0 to 5 (the lower the better, the less chance it will happen) how much it is tending to cause blackheads by blocking the pores of the skin
  3. Irritation: shows on a scale from 0 to 5 (the lower the better, the less chance it will happen) the chance of getting irritated from using the product
  4. Safety: There are five types of Safety icon:     , green icon means this ingredient is low hazard. Unlike comedogenic and irritation, Safety is a comprehensive index focusing on safety on long term usage. The purpose of the index is more inclined to estimate whether long-term injury of skin, cells or the human body.

It's all about pores....

or should i say, pores No more...

As the weather gets warmer, pores are just going crazy...at least mine do :(
I have tried several products to control the oiliness of my skin and preventing pores from clogging, some of them worked.... and some not. Here are few i really liked, and seen a change on my skin....

The best and fastest way to clean up your pores is with
Dr.Brandt Pores No More vacuum cleaner blackhead extractor
This amazing product takes out all the dirt and oil of your pores, leaving them almost unnoticeable!!!

It's exclusive formula combines Salicylic and Glycolic Acid to assist in the release of blackheads while Eijitsu Rose helps tighten pores.

  • extracts dirt & excess oil
  • unclogs & tightens pores
  • exfoliates and softens skin's texture

  • Unfortunately it is a bit expensive, but it last really really long....

I was not a big fan of any Clinique products until i got this one from a dear friend of mine. The Clinique Pore Minimizer instant perfector. I just L O V E it!!!!
This product is perfect before the foundation as a primer, or i am even using it by itself. It makes pores disappear only as long as you are wearing it, but after a week or two if you are using it constantly you will notice an improve on your pores and skin. After applying the skin feels oohhhh so soft...

  • Natural looking
  • Long lasting matte finish
  • De-shines
  • Resists sweat, humidity
  • Refines the look of pores

An other nice product i like to use as a primer is Rexaline Hydra-Zoom.
This actually is a wrinkle filler for fine lines, but i like to apply it also to the areas where pores are out of control....it works nice for both problem.
These product is formulated with the Rexaline complex-a unique blend of hyaluronic and polyglutamic acids, which absorb an incredible amount of water and quench the skin. It's like pumping water into your skin.

  • treatment that provides daily intense moisturizing
  • corrects dryness
  • targets the visible signs of aging

The next one is MAC Matte Gel.
It is perfect to use under the foundation, it will make your skin smooth and matt. It is not a treatment though, like the ones above. I use it only before applying the make up and never by itself. It is silicone based, it wont prevent sweating and it is not the best solution if your skin is very oily because you will need to powder your face almost as often as without the gel. It wont last all day but will help in keeping the shine under control especially if you have normal skin.

Bronze SunKissed Look for Fair Skintone

Summer is coming, and we all want that healthy bronzish glow to look stunning, to feel like a sunkissed bronze glowing goddess...

I just tested a beautiful bronze gold Estee Lauder palette...a 5 color palette called Extravagant Gold, to achieve the desired look.

My new favorite foundation is Estee Lauder's Individualist Natural finish Make Up. I used the shade Fresco 01, and a Double Wear concealer in 02 LightMedium.

Then to achieve that beautiful sunkissed look, i applied a Chanel Bronze Universel Sun Illuminator under my cheekbones, on the temple of my head close to the hairline and on my jaw line. Then just smeared it all a bit, to avoid any harsh lines.

Afterwards i put a bit of Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish loose Powder in 50 Peche.

For an extra glow i put some Shimmer Brick Compact by Bobbi Brown in Beige on my cheekbones.

I choosed a nice nude gold Estee Lauder Pure Color lipstick in Beige for the final touch.

Hope You Like It
